One-on-One with NASA’s Director of Public Affairs

Join FPRA’s Orlando Area Chapter on Thursday, Jan. 26 as we welcome Lisa Malone, APR, CPRC, director of public affairs for NASA, Kennedy Space Center. Known as the ‘Voice Of NASA’ by many for her years as the female launch commentator and her various roles within NASA’s public affairs department, Lisa will discuss the news and events leading up to the end of the space shuttle program and how public relations played a role in showcasing the programs accomplishments and making the best of the news for NASA, even when the news angle was not always favorable.
